As a person who hated the idea of any form of exercise, I really enjoy my keep fit sessions with Katherine. She is an excellent and calm personal trainer with first rate technical knowledge and real skill in how she relates to me as a client. I never feel rushed and yet we cover more and more as the weeks progress. Katherine encourages me to extend myself and corrects any positions to ensure maximum benefit. I am sleeping better, have more energy and have increased awareness of the need for better posture and healthy eating. Katherine also provides on going support via emails which include healthy recipes. Each week I receive a personal exercise programme to follow of which I have found invaluable. I should have done this years ago! I have no hesitation in recommending Katherine as a personal trainer. NB This client is now able to join her husband for walks, carry a 6 pack of drinks bottles and get up off the floor easily all of which she struggled to do before training. I just love my PT sessions with Katherine each week. She keeps the classes varied and challenging enough that you don't feel you can't do what she asks of you, but you know you've pushed yourself the next day. The online support has been invaluable in keeping me "in the zone" in between classes, transfering her workouts to my own gym and being more savvy around food options. Informative posts about calories have been a god send, without feeling that she is preaching, and some really delicious, simple recipes tried and tested by her which has given me the confidence to have a go myself (much to my families delight). I was struggling to lose weight after a successful hip replacement 6 months ago. During a conversation with a client of mine who spoke about her visits to Katherine, saying she had so much energy and felt so good, I thought this is what I need too! That was 6 weeks ago. I started Katherine’s Couch to 5k in January. I’ve run on and off before but wouldn’t class myself as a ‘runner’ by any means. I found Katherine’s programme easy to stick to, with a gentle start, and the app helpfully pings reminders of when runs are due - I’m not great at scheduling so this was really helpful. Initially I thought of each run as a sweaty hate march, but once I realised that I could run for 10 minutes easily, I came to really enjoy it. I even looked forward to it, and realised that running is a great stress-reliever. I would highly recommend the run programme. Katherine’s enthusiasm and support has been so helpful too, she’s always happy to answer questions or cheer me on.

Just wanted to say a big thank you. Your support, encouragement and our fantastic Friday sessions has meant I have taken the first step to being able to reduce my antidepressants and to see a future where I don't have to take them. I have been in them for 10+years, the last 5 on a very high dose. I have at various times tired, unsucessfully, to drop my dose. Trying because I felt I should, rather than felt I could. But now I'm just completed an easy drop in my meds and feel better for it. I feel better in myself and my head feels clearer, all because of exercise and being mindful of what I eat. I really enjoy our sessions and all the extra info on food and recipes and I know I never could have made this step with out this support. I'm looking forward to taking the next step and dropping my dose again in a few weeks time. Yay! 🙌

Katherine offers an amazing service and I would highly recommend her to anyone, whether they are anxiously thinking of starting out on a new fitness journey with no experience, they know what they are doing and need a kick up the bum, or a fit with lots of experience but are looking for an exciting, varied fitness experience. Katherine can meet everyone's needs. I especially like the fitness hub, where all our sessions are logged as well as measurements and photos. Can pick up an exercise or check my progress (previous weights etc) from my phone. More than happy with all that Katherine provides.

What can I say..... I've been training with Katherine for a year now and the difference she has made to my life is invaluable. It's so much more than losing weight. I'm stronger, mentally and physically, and know so much more about what I can do to keep myself fit and healthy. In these unprecedented times I'm REALLY missing my face to face time with Katherine however, she's still providing me with invaluable support and encouragement from a far. During the past three weeks of "weird" holiday mode excess she has been with me all the way. Eating too much, drinking too much, struggling with home schooling, worrying about the future then........she pulls it out of the bag. Just a gentle reminder that being active is good for us, that (if we have the time) finding time for ourselves is beneficial, a very achievable challenge of just TWO workouts a week and a reminder that our "steps" each day pay dividends. Katherine never puts pressure on you, she never asks anything of you she wouldn't do herself and is always knows just what her clients need. This week I've gone from zero to three workouts (so far) and 9000+ steps a day. I cannot recommend Katherine enough, from near and far! 💖

I just took part in my first Online, live Training session with Katherine. Every exercise was demonstrated and form was discussed. Katherine gave clear and concise instructions! The exercises could be adapted to make them harder, modify for anyone who may have mobility issues or the beginner. Katherine as been training me for several months in her home gym which is well equipped. For the last few weeks during ‘lockdown’ she has been training me by FaceTime from her gym to my home Katherine is the consummate professional who takes her work very seriously . She takes time to learn a client’s needs and incorporate any health issues such as arthritis into her training. Her programmes are thus tailored to her clients. While training me via FaceTime she has ensured my safety despite her ‘virtual presence’ by ensuring she can see me and my movements at all times. She is very polite but also warm and friendly which ensures good communication between us. It works well and I enjoy our sessions which are worth the money I am paying in fees. I have no hesitation in recommending her to prospective clients. They can view her helpful Facebook page where there are clients comments and her own ideas such as recipes for health eating.Once signed up a client will find her online material provides much support and inspiration for ongoing training between sessions.
